Tiny Rainbow Frogs

This is the story about 4 tiny mighty frogs that dress up with the rainbow colors. They are called Doro, Boro, Woro and Muru.

They live in South and Central America´s Rainforest and have a powerful secret. They are known for their bright colors which they use to avoid contact! Why? Because they are the most toxic animal in the World!

They are usually called the arrow frogs because the venom on their skin was used by indigenous tribes on the tip of their arrows for hunting. But it´s toxicity comes from an even smaller animal that serves them as a great meal... ants! Frogs that live in captivity and are not fed with ants are proven to have no toxicity at all... so true it is, we are what we eat.

So if we got to learn something from these little frogs is to take care of what we put inside our bodies and love our bright colors!

This collection is dedicated to these lovely rainbow frogs because no matter how small you are you can always make significant actions. You will find their colors all around our knitted pieces as well as the clouds needed for the rain to be present in the Rainforest, the necessary ants that give these frogs their powers and of course lots of lovely hearts to send these little endangered creatures good energy.
